Casino Nights

Casino Nights, otherwise known as Monte Carlo fundraisers, is a mock-casino charitable gaming event licensed by the Alcohol, Gaming Fuel and Tobacco Division of Service Nova Scotia.

Tickets are usually sold in advance and attendees receive play-money at the door to play mock-casino Blackjack and other carnival-style games (Crown & Anchor, Plinko). The evening usually includes a silent and/or live auction and a way for attendees to redeem their play-money for prizes.

Other forms of casino-style card games, such as Texas Hold’em, are not permitted in the Province of Nova Scotia at this time.
